Job Description
We are seeking a Manager of Interactive Services. The Manager of Interactive Services will provide leadership for the team responsible for the audiovisual, conferencing, and collaboration technologies that support clinical operations, executive communications, and enterprise-wide meetings and events. This role is responsible for leading technical staff, developing operational strategies, overseeing technology initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality collaboration services across the organization.
The ideal candidate is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in audiovisual and unified communications technologies, team development, stakeholder management, and operational excellence. This position requires a balance of people leadership, technical oversight, strategic planning, and customer-focused service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals responsible for enterprise audiovisual, conferencing, and collaboration technologies.
- Establish team priorities aligned with departmental and organizational strategic objectives.
- Provide coaching, performance management, career development, and succession planning for team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and support of enterprise collaboration technologies, including conference rooms, meeting spaces, and audiovisual environments.
- Oversee the delivery of technology support for executive meetings, clinical operations, and high-profile organizational events.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain collaboration technologies that support business and operational needs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions that improve user experience, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain operational standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, executive leadership, and external vendors to deliver technology solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead technology projects from planning through implementation, including resource planning, timelines, budgets, and risk management.
- Monitor project progress and ensure successful delivery of initiatives consistent with organizational priorities.
- Assist with departmental financial management, including budget monitoring, expense tracking, forecasting, and major technology purchases.
- Develop and deliver effective communications, documentation, and user training related to supported technologies.
- Stay current with emerging collaboration, conferencing, and audiovisual technologies and recommend strategic improvements to the technology roadmap.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology, audiovisual services, unified communications, or a related technical discipline.
- Previous experience leading technical teams in an enterprise environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise audiovisual and conferencing technologies such as Cisco, Poly, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Extron, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Demonstrated success leading technical projects, operational initiatives, and service delivery improvements.
- Experience supporting executive-level meetings, board meetings, live productions, or high-visibility events in mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise collaboration technologies, audiovisual systems, conferencing platforms, digital media, and related infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and resource planning abilities.
- Experience managing competing priorities while delivering high-quality customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across IT, business leadership, and third-party vendors.
- Experience with budgeting, financial planning, vendor management, and operational planning is preferred.
- Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
