Sales & Design Consultant
Encore Stone Studio – Houston, TX
Encore Stone Studio is expanding our team and seeking a driven, relationship-focused Sales & Design Consultant to help grow our presence within the design and construction community. This role blends consultative sales, design guidance, and proactive business development, making it ideal for someone who thrives on building connections and closing high-value projects.
We specialize in natural stone (marble, quartzite, granite), quartz, and porcelain, while working with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and builders to bring exceptional spaces to life.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Client Experience
- Guide homeowners and trade professionals through the stone selection process for kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, and more
- Deliver a high-touch, consultative experience that sets Encore apart
- Manage projects from initial inquiry through final selection
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals
Business Development & Outreach
- Conduct cold outreach (calls, visits, and follow-ups) to interior designers, architects, builders, and industry professionals
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key players in the Houston design and construction community
- Actively grow a personal book of business and referral network
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities
- Manage and develop relationships with our current book of business
Networking & Industry Presence
- Attend industry events, showrooms, and networking functions
- Represent Encore Stone Studio as a knowledgeable and trusted resource
- Integrate into the local design community and strengthen brand visibility
Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams and industry professionals to ensure seamless project execution
- Contribute to outreach strategies and relationship-building initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of sales experience (preferably in a curated showroom or design focused boutique)
- Proven ability as a self-driven closer with strong follow-through
- Confidence in cold calling and in-person outreach
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Passion for design, architecture, and interiors
- High energy, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic office tools (Microsoft Office, tablets, etc.)
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Rotational Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation
- Base Salary: $50,000
- Commission: Average $3,000 – $5,500/month
- Total Potential Earnings: $100K
