Responsibilities:
- Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
- Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
- Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
- Accountable for completion of CNA documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADLs.
- Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.
- Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.
- Current State of Delaware C.N.A. Certificate
- Current CPR Card
