Encore Village- Millcroft (Newark,DE) is currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our team. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the community's operations, ensuring the highest standards of resident care, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has experience in DE with a proven track record of leadership in the senior living industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the property, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and innovation.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including resident care, dining services, facilities management, and administrative functions.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize operational efficiency, resource allocation, and resident satisfaction.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Drive business development initiatives to enhance occupancy, revenue growth, and overall financial performance.
- Lead recruitment, training, and development efforts to build a high-performing team committed to our mission and values.
- Serve as the primary liaison to Regional Directors providing regular updates on operational performance, financial metrics, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Current and active LNHA License is required in the state of DE.
- Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in the senior living industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, financial management principles, and best practices in senior care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated success in driving occupancy, revenue growth, and operational excellence.
