We are seeking an experienced Surveillance & Access Control Technician III to support enterprise surveillance, access control, networking, and facility technology systems across Wisconsin.
Required Skills

Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, maintain, and support surveillance, access control, and telecommunications systems
- Support servers, desktop PCs, storage, networking equipment, and surveillance infrastructure
- Manage Cisco networking and web filtering environments (Palo Alto & Zscaler)
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues
- Travel to agency locations throughout Wisconsin as needed
Additional Information
- Hybrid schedule with work from home and onsite visits to correctional facilities and other state locations
- Day travel throughout Wisconsin is common; occasional overnight travel (planned in advance)
- State fleet vehicles provided for qualified drivers
- On-call rotation approximately once every 8 weeks
- $2.25/hour while carrying the on-call phone
- Standard hourly rate paid for any actual work performed
Location Requirements
Candidates must currently reside in Wisconsin within one hour of Madison or be willing to relocate within one hour of Madison before the start date at their own expense.
