Description

Job Summary:

The Office Manager is responsible for providing leadership to office staff, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring the overall branch is performing at an exceptional level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and operational logistics for the bank’s success 
  • Lead and direct banking operations through bank managerial duties 
  • Build strong relationships with customers and other financial institutions 
  • Develop and promote products and services to customers
  • Direct all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, administration and sales in accordance with the Encore Bank's objectives
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales and partnership opportunities
  • Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
  • Meet goals and metrics
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and Encore Bank
  • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide updates on market movement
  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • May supervise 1 – 3 employees including directing and managing work load, creating and managing work schedules, approving time off requests, ensuring performance remains at an acceptable level, and other managerial type duties as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner.  Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:

  • 5-10 years of Banking experience
  • At least 5 years of Branch/Office Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other business related fields
  • Proficiency in analyzing and understanding financial statements, ratios and concepts
  • Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high pressure work environment with varying degrees of supervision
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Results driven and customer focused
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Computer and Office Equipment Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
