Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights to support deposit growth, product strategy, and treasury-related initiatives. This role focuses on analyzing deposit trends, customer behavior, pricing effectiveness, and product profitability to inform strategic decision-making. The Financial Analyst partners closely with the Chief Deposit Officer and deposit leadership to enhance product offerings, optimize treasury fee structures, and drive sustainable deposit growth across the bank.
Primary Responsibilities:
The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
• Analyze deposit portfolio performance, including growth trends, run-off (churn), and customer segmentation across branches and markets
• Evaluate product profitability, including cost of funds, fee income, and relationship-level contribution
• Conduct treasury fee analysis to identify optimization opportunities, pricing gaps, and revenue enhancement strategies
• Develop, maintain, and enhance standardized deposit dashboards and reporting packages for executive and operational use
• Support pricing strategy through data analysis, modeling, and scenario planning for deposit rates, fees, and promotional campaigns
• Identify emerging trends in customer behavior, product utilization, and competitive positioning
• Work closely on Product Enablement to provide data related to deposit promotions, campaigns, and new product offerings
• Provide actionable insights to improve customer retention and reduce deposit attrition
• Support profitability and relationship analytics for treasury management and deposit products
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics platforms
• Translate complex data into executive-level summaries, presentations, and actionable recommendations
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field required
• 2–7 years of experience in banking analytics, treasury, finance, or deposit product management preferred
• Strong understanding of deposit products, treasury management services, and banking profitability metrics
• Experience analyzing customer and product behavior, including pricing, fees, and retention drivers
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify meaningful trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard development (Power BI strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with core banking systems, data warehouses, and financial reporting tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Computer and Office Equipment Skills:
• Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, modeling, data analysis)
• Power BI or similar data visualization tools
• Experience working with data platforms (SQL, data warehouse environments, or analytics tools preferred)
