Job Description:

Structural Precast Concrete Laborer

EnCon Colorado is seeking hardworking, dependable individuals who take pride in getting tasks done safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

• Molding and preparation: Cleaning, preparing, and staging molds for concrete pouring.
• Concrete placement: Pouring concrete into the molds, vibrating it to remove air pockets, and finishing the surface.
• Reinforcement placement: Placing steel reinforcing bars or wire mesh into the molds according to design specifications to ensure structural integrity.
• Curing and finishing: After the concrete sets, workers remove the forms and assist in moving the cured products to storage. They may also apply specific finishes to the product surface.
• Site support: Assisting with tasks that support the production process, which can include working with a team to increase productivity and lower costs.

Required skills and qualifications:

• **Physical ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs, crawl, and climb ladders.
• **MUST ok with working in all weather elements and working a dust environment.**
• Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Prior experience in the precast industry or other construction is beneficial.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous placement of reinforcement and finishing are critical for the structural integrity and quality of the final product.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other team members to support the production schedule.
• **MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE- EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN AND MONTHLY RANDOM DRUG TEST.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions from Foreman's, Lead's, Superintendent and Safety Manager.

Schedule:

• Ability to arrive to work on time.
• Ability to work Monday thru Friday. Weekends as needed.
• Start time 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM or until work is done.

Compensation:

• Starting Wage: $20.00 – $21.00/hour (DOE – depending on experience)
• Weekly Pay
