EnCon Field Services, LLC, (EFS) is a division of the EnCon Companies. Started as a subcontractor to install architectural and structural prestressed/precast concrete panels and building systems, EFS is now a general contractor performing concrete structure repair, restoration, and maintenance programs, along with the manufacturing and installation of tilt-up concrete panel systems. EFS has an immediate opportunity for a full time Project Superintendent in its Denver, CO office. This is a unique and highly satisfying opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be involved with a diverse group of projects.
Summary of Position:
Responsible for providing leadership and management of on-site activities including preplanning, production, installation, quality control and safety. Working with the Project Manager, Project Superintendent must plan a project prior to construction in order to construct the project in accordance with the project specifications including schedule, quality control and safety requirements. Superintendents must facilitate and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, design teams and owners as well as subcontractors.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Minimum of two years of superintendent experience or five years of assistant superintendent experience in commercial construction.
In-depth experience in commercial construction means and methods-- experience with precast or tilt-up a plus.
Good planning and communication skills.
Ability to interact with general contractors, engineers and internal project managers.
Willingness to travel within state and spend nights out of town when required.
Ability to direct up to a 15 man crew.
Clean driving record.
Must be a self-starter.
