Job Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit accurate, concise quotes within one business day
- Review vendor pricing to ensure best value
- Order and track parts to meet job schedules; confirm next-day availability
- Manage POs and communicate updates to technicians
- Confirm part requirements and approve substitutions
- Create work orders from follow-ups and coordinate internally
- Support warehouse planning for upcoming jobs
- Monitor market trends and evaluate new vendors
- Respond to all inquiries same day and provide proactive updates
- Escalate service issues and assist with client resolution
- Identify, document, and resolve purchasing and vendor issues
- Coordinate daily with dispatch and client relationship managers
- Support call overflow and maintain a high-quality client experience
Required Skills
- 1 year experience in the trade service industry (HVAC or Plumbing preferred)
- Experience as a purchasing agent or similar role
- Ability to communicate technical needs between technicians and vendors
- Strong vendor management and relationship-building skills
- Customer-focused with a positive, professional attitude
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly to changing needs
- Team-oriented with openness to feedback and collaboration
- Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset
- Willingness to complete apprenticeship training and ENCON University programs
- Former licensed service technicians a plus!
- Must be willing to work from office in Stratford, CT
- Employment/education will be verified.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
