What You’ll Do
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a vital role in helping adults reach their personal goals. Every day, you’ll make a real difference by:
Providing Day-Habilitation and Res-Hab support services tailored to each individual’s needs.
Assisting with daily living skills like bathing, brushing teeth, and household chores.
Engaging in fun activities and community events, and meeting individuals where they are.
Supporting coping and communication skills to foster independence.
Building lifelong relationships with families while creating positive change.
Skill Building: Teach and assist individuals with daily living tasks, including meal prep, grooming, and money management.
Community Integration: Facilitate community outings, such as shopping, visiting parks, or attending recreational events.
Goal Achievement: Implement person-centered plans to help individuals achieve personal, social, and vocational goals.
Safety & Advocacy: Ensure a safe, clean environment and advocate for individuals' rights and choices.
Documentation: Accurately record daily progress, activities, and behavioral notes in accordance with agency policies.

Age 16 with a valid driver’s license.

Comfortable working in homes with pets.

Ability to work 7:45am-6pm Monday-Friday
