Location: Culpeper, Virginia
Encompass Community Supports, formerly known as Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services (RRCS) is hiring an Inpatient Substance Use Disorder Manager. At Encompass Community Supports, our full-time employees work 37.5 hours weekly.
The Inpatient SUD Manager oversees daily operations of inpatient substance use disorder treatment programs, including staff supervision, clinical oversight, program quality, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures high-quality care, coordinates treatment services, and monitors program outcomes while leading a multidisciplinary team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Staff & Supervision: Hire, train, evaluate, and mentor program and nursing staff; ensure adherence to treatment protocols and EHR documentation.
- Program Operations: Maintain schedules, manage budgets, oversee billing, monitor utilization, staffing, and facility operations.
- Clinical Oversight: Supervise nursing staff, maintain compliance with Board of Nursing standards, review treatment protocols, and support medical discharge decisions.
- Community Engagement: Coordinate with external providers, law enforcement, and community agencies; participate in collaborative initiatives.
- Quality & Compliance: Handle complaints, conduct internal investigations, and monitor program outcomes for continuous improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, psychology, behavioral health, public health, or related field
- 3–5 years SUD/behavioral health experience; 1–2 years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of evidence-based SUD treatments and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with EHR and Microsoft Office
- Employment with Encompass Community Supports is contingent upon the successful completion of our background check process (criminal, DMV, education, drug screening, reference check, DSS, OIG and SAM).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in relevant field (MSW, MSN, etc.)
- Professional licensure (LCSW, LPC, RN, CSAC etc.) or licensed eligible
- 5 years clinical experience, 3 years management experience
- Experience with co-occurring disorders, MAT, trauma-informed care
- Budget management and community partnership experience
