Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Youth In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care for children and young adults during weekends and some week days. This role involves supporting individuals with various needs, including developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, and other health conditions. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive caregiving, safety monitoring, and personalized assistance. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Following care plans and HIPAA guidelines
- Support clients cognitive impairments through patient observation and engagement
- Follow established care plans and document progress or concerns accurately
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Collaborate with family members, healthcare professionals, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- Prior experience in home preferred
- Certifications such as CPR
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism is preferred
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and safety oversight
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while adhering to safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license may be preferred for transportation purposes
- Must be patient, attentive, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality care in a home environment

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
