Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand clients' need
- Coordinate all aspects of events, including décor, procurement, entertainment, and logistics
- Ensure all necessary permits and contracts are in place for each event
Team Leadership
- Lead a team of event coordinators and support staff to execute events seamlessly
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities, providing clear guidance and support
- Hire and Train assistants and the lead assistants.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain high-quality service standards, ensuring that events are executed to the highest level of satisfaction
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Logistics & Operations
- Oversee event logistics, including set-up, breakdown, and on-site management
- Plan and manage inventories and supplies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Event Planning, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 4 plus years of experience in event management, wedding, or upscale social events
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work on-site up to 2 days/week.
- Comfortable lifting objects up to 20lb.
