This role is focused on consumer home goods and accessories, including mugs, cups, drinkware, and giftable items.
Candidates must have experience in both product design AND packaging design within consumer goods.
This is not an industrial design role.
Candidates with backgrounds primarily in furniture, electronics, or conceptual/industrial design without relevant consumer product experience will not be considered.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Designer to support both product development and packaging execution across our home goods and accessories categories.
We are looking for a designer who can develop products and carry them through to production, with a strong focus on execution and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop home goods and accessories including mugs, cups, drinkware, and related giftable items
- Create CADs, layouts, and product specifications
- Execute packaging layouts and prepare production-ready artwork
- Work directly with overseas factories on development, revisions, and approvals
- Ensure designs meet cost targets and production requirements
- Collaborate with sourcing, sales, and internal teams
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in both product design AND packaging design (consumer goods required)
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Experience developing products for retail (home goods, accessories, or gifting preferred)
- Strong understanding of product development and production processes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Requirements:
- Portfolio must include both consumer products AND retail-ready packaging
- Concept-only or industrial design portfolios will not be considered
- Must be able to work on-site in NYC
Compensation:
- Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
