ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Coordinator will be the liaison between all divisions (sales, design, and factories) working on Tabletop Ceramic and Glassware orders.
- Assists in handling order processing and tracking orders (from factories overseas up to the buyer's)
- Communicate daily with internal/external partners regarding production and delivery information.
- Responsible for reviewing samples with design and disseminating the information to the factories. Also, follow up on missing samples or revised samples from the factory.
- Assist the head of production with initial creation from sourcing, manufacturing to the finalized product.
- Daily communication with designers and salespeople
- Reviews the vendor manual on what requirements have to be given to the factories.
- Submitting samples on time to the customer for approval.
- Maintaining and updating the WIP weekly
- Report on status updates of ongoing projects and tasks.
- Troubleshot challenges with realistic and creative solutions
- Maintain, Document, and implement efficient tracking strategies.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- Mandarin Speaking & Written Proficiency is preferred, but not required.
- Proactive, Motivated, and Trainable
- Experience using Envision is a plus.
- Experience with multinational trade and export is a plus.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: planning, expediting, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks and meeting corporate deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and effective time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics with 1 wholesale production or related experience; or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of wholesale production or related experience; or 3 years in a wholesale production or related role.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
