What You Will Do
Grasping, kneeling, walking on uneven/unpaved surfaces, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

What You Will Do
- Prepare, review, update and Professional Engineer certify Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans for all applicable assets.
- Coordinate site visits with appropriate operations personnel and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with SPCC Regulation, identifying areas for improvement and communicating findings in a clear and actionable manner to operations.
- Coordinate the migration of SPCC plans into SmartPlan and utilize SmartPlan for all SPCC plan management.
- Retain and manage third party consultants personnel when required to support SPCC program, including their compliance with Enbridge’s safety program requirements.
- Provide guidance, advice, and interpretation of SPCC regulations, and where applicable, related state regulations.
- Update internal systems (ie, Maximo, Enablon) to ensure compliance tasks and inspection findings are tracked and documented.
- Degree in engineering, with Professional Engineer PE certification and able to obtain license in states within which Enbridge operates.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience, ideally with hands-on experience conducting site inspections related to SPCC compliance.
- Exposure to, and understanding of, the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC regulation and/or related state regulations.
- Experience utilizing SmartPlan or similar platform for SPCC Plan management is an asset.
- Experience with natural gas transmission, gathering, production, or distribution is preferred.
- Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
- Both office and field environment.
- Up to 30% field work with travel durations ranging from 1 day to 1 week at a time. Exposure to active operating sites often without escort /work alone at active facilities.
