Monday-Friday, 9AM - 6PM, on site.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Month-End Close: Lead the month-end/year-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and support internal/external audits.
General Ledger: Maintain, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Budgeting & Analysis: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Mentorship: Supervise and train junior accountants or bookkeepers
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in public or corporate accounting.
Certification: CPA license is often required or preferred.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Yardi).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
