Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cas
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company
- Assist in special projects and financial analyses as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting or related financial role
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA license is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Knowledge of industry-specific accounting regulations
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools
- Understanding of risk management and internal control processes
