Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud & Edge Architect with deep expertise in Akamai, AWS, and Azure Front Door to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud and edge solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CDN architecture, cloud networking, edge security, and infrastructure automation within enterprise environments.

This is a hands-on architecture role requiring strong technical leadership and the ability to design resilient, globally distributed platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable multi-cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, and Akamai.
• Architect global traffic management, failover, caching, and origin protection strategies.
• Configure and optimize Akamai services including WAF, Bot Manager, DDoS Protection, EdgeWorkers, and Property Manager.
• Design and implement Azure Front Door (Standard/Premium) solutions, including routing rules, WAF policies, caching, and custom domains.
• Architect AWS networking and infrastructure using services such as VPC, Route 53, ALB/NLB, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudFront, and IAM.
• Build secure and highly available Azure environments using VNets, Application Gateway, AKS, App Services, Azure Storage, and Azure AD.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep.
• Drive edge security best practices, SSL/TLS management, Zero Trust principles, and cloud governance.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure and CDN configurations with CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support mission-critical environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
• Mentor engineers and participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, or Cloud Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Akamai CDN and security solutions.
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and networking.
• Strong experience with Azure Front Door and Azure networking services.
• Solid understanding of CDN architecture, DNS, SSL/TLS, caching, load balancing, and traffic optimization.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep.
• Experience integrating cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
