We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter who excels at sourcing, screening, and driving candidates through the recruiting pipeline. This role is centered on sourcing and recruiting, with compliance and onboarding handled by dedicated internal teams. The recruiter will support by coordinating paperwork and start details when required.
Role Overview
As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating top-tier technical talent across a wide range of engineering and financial-system roles. You’ll manage multiple challenging reqs at once, develop strong hotlists, and leverage both traditional sourcing and modern AI-driven automation to keep pipelines full and moving.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on deep sourcing, fast execution, and creative problem-solving in an agency setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, engage, and screen candidates for technical roles including software engineers, developers, cloud specialists, data engineers, DevOps, cybersecurity, and niche financial systems positions.
- Build, maintain, and refresh strong pipelines/hotlists for recurring and specialized skill sets.
- Use advanced Boolean, X-ray search, AI sourcing tools, and creative research methods to identify and attract top talent.
- Conduct thorough screenings to assess technical alignment, communication, and overall fit.
- Prepare and present candidate summaries to account managers with clear, concise detail.
- Partner closely with account managers to align on role requirements, search strategies, and client expectations.
- Manage candidates through interview stages until offer acceptance (compliance/onboarding handled by internal teams).
- Maintain accurate documentation, notes, and activity logs in the ATS/CRM.
- Adopt new AI and automation platforms to continually improve sourcing efficiency, accuracy, and speed.
- Manage multiple complex requisitions simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of IT recruitment experience, preferably in an agency or high-volume environment.
- Proven track record sourcing and screening engineers, developers, cloud talent, data roles, DevOps, security, and niche financial systems profiles.
- Expertise with Boolean logic, sourcing strategy, and creative talent mapping.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to move fast without sacrificing accuracy.
- Experience building scalable pipelines and hotlists for hard-to-fill roles.
- Ability to leverage and adapt to AI sourcing and automation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, self-driven approach with comfort in a metrics-driven agency environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for OMS, EMS, trading systems, risk systems, or other enterprise financial technologies.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools like Zapier, AirTable automations, or AI-driven candidate-matching tools.
- Strong understanding of ATS/CRM best practices.
