What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Visual Technician position at enableIT?
We are seeking an On-site Technical Support Technician to provide hands-on IT and Audio Visual support across a large office environment. This role is fully onsite and supports a wide range of technologies including Surface Hubs, Crestron systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Windows and Mac devices, printers, and meeting/event setups. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, excellent troubleshooting ability, and experience supporting end users in a fast-paced environment.
*The role is onsite in Jax, with infrequent travel (2.5–3 hrs) to a nearby Tallahassee location.
Audio Visual Support
- Configure and support Microsoft Surface Hubs, including display, audio, and network settings.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with Crestron devices (network connectivity, audio, video, resolution).
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms, including connectivity, UI responsiveness, and meeting controls.
- Support additional AV and collaboration tools such as Condeco, Barco ClickShare, Pano, Polycom, Cisco devices, speakers, cameras, monitors, and kiosks.
Technical Support
- Provide in-person support for end users on-site, off-site, or at client engagement locations.
- Troubleshoot issues across PC, Mac, applications, AV equipment, and network connectivity.
- Manage, prioritize, and resolve ServiceNow tickets while maintaining SLA awareness.
- Support Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Assist with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office 365.
- Handle asset management: shipping, receiving, tracking, and hardware lifecycle maintenance.
- Provide printer installation, configuration, relocation, and troubleshooting.
- Support onsite or offsite meetings and events.
- Perform remote-hands support as guided (ports, cable tracing, reboots, upgrades).
- Deliver VIP and white-glove technical support.
- Provide occasional after-hours or travel-based support as needed.

Required Experience
