What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Assistant position at EMSL?
EMSL Analytical, Inc., one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Full Time Accounting Assistant at our corporate location in Cinnaminson, NJ. This candidate will assist the Accounting Specialist with the following duties.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
Invoice change request processing this includes understanding and adjusting invoice status and issuing credit memos
Move invoices through the lab system and into the accounting system (batch process and posting)
Support billing for Products Division and special billing for contract clients
Special credit card charging activity
Credit card batch post processing and uploading receipts to accounting system
Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the manager
Requirements:
Associates Degree in Accounting or related field is required
Three plus years' experience of relevant accounting processing experience is required
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely and without restriction or sponsorship
Strong understanding of order entry/billing process, Accounts Receivable process and accounting cycle
Knowledge of Macola/Modular Accounting Software, Invoicing and Accounts Receivable accounting software is needed
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to multi-task, prioritize work assignments and be deadline oriented for all projects
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Available Shift:
Position is full-time Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
