About The Opportunity
As a Scale Cashier at EMR, you’ll play a key role in our daily operations at our Camden, NJ site. As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll provide excellent customer service while weighing and recording materials, issuing receipts, and providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
While performing the essential functions of this job, the Quality Assurance Inspector will be in an environment of field work. The employee may be working near moving mechanical parts and will be in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and require ear protection. The employee is required to sit, walk and stand for periods of time. This job also requires: frequent bending, kneeling and standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., working in confined spaces, and ability to work in high/low temperatures. The employee may be required to use a computer for extended periods of time. Communication will be via telephone, mobile phone, email, text and in-person with others to exchange accurate information.

- Weigh incoming/outgoing trucks and materials, issue tickets, and process payments
- Verify materials and coordinate with yard staff
- Provide prompt, helpful support to meet customer needs

- Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills
