Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery scheduling and truck route planning to ensure efficient dispatch.
- Answer and respond to customer calls related to orders, deliveries, and dispatch inquiries.
- Receive, process, and accurately store incoming inventory.
- Load and unload trucks while verifying shipments against documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse software and tools.
- Assist customers with on-site pickups, providing a friendly and helpful experience.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, especially over the phone.
- Experience in dispatching or routing procedures (minimum of 1 year required).
- Detail-oriented with strong inventory tracking and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, especially Excel.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and capable of lifting up to 80 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
