EMR is seeking an experienced Lead Heavy Equipment Cleaning Technician to oversee daily pressure washing operations and guide a team of technicians in delivering high-quality cleaning services for heavy equipment. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on heavy equipment cleaning and pressure washing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead and coordinate field projects from start to finish. This role pays $25 - 30/hr.
The Lead Technician will plan routes, assign team members to job sites, operate industrial-grade pressure washing equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Kärcher (Hotsy brand) or comparable industrial-grade pressure washers to clean heavy equipment and machinery.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee pressure washing projects from start to finish.
Assign technicians to job sites and tasks based on skill level and project needs.
Complete scheduled routes in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
Conduct inspections before, during, and after projects to ensure thorough cleaning and job completion.
Maintain accurate records of job sites, equipment cleaned, return gas receipts weekly, and any other issues encountered.
Perform equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of pressure washing systems.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
Safely operate a 1-ton truck with an 8.5x18x10 enclosed trailer to haul equipment and materials to job sites through tri state area.
Support team members and step in to assist with hands-on work when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong experience operating and troubleshooting pressure washing equipment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a small team.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Familiarity with MaintainX or other digital maintenance systems
Comfortable being able to operate high reach and work up to 60ft in air
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of two years of pressure washing experience required.
2–3 years of experience driving 1 ton truck hauling enclosed 8.5x18x10 trailer
2-3 years of familiarity with electronic trailer braking system
Experience operating Kärcher (Hotsy brand) or comparable industrial-grade pressure washers preferred.
