The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring we can produce millions of bars.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other issues on production equipment.
- Install and modify equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols and engineering standards.
- Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and repair history.
- Work effectively with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
What you bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of PLC and HMI systems (preferred)
- Ability to provide own basic tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
