Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment in our Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park , CA location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, safety protocols, and mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks to load and unload materials efficiently.
- Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of shipping and receiving orders.
- Handle heavy lifting and materials handling while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse environment by ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing materials for transport
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation, including pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of order picking processes and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
