Responsibilities

• Assist participants with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor participants health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
• Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Support participants during outings or community activities to promote social engagement and independence

Skills

• Proven experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with individuals who have severe mental illness
• Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and patient monitoring
• Strong observational skills
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate attitude with patience for working with participants

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
