Behavior Technician
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Provide one-on-one support and assistance to clients in various settings.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support strategies.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure effective treatment plans.
- Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Experience:
- Preferred: Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices.
- Experience working with children in a behavioral health setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and techniques.
- Ability to follow medical documentation protocols and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
