Job Purpose
To provide the direct services to individuals participating in the Christian County Jail Substance Abuse Program (SAP).
Responsibilities
- Maintain a caseload of 20-25 clients
- Complete all program documentation in timeframe identified
- Facilitate individual sessions with clients with a Substance Use Diagnosis
- Conduct group sessions based upon program scheduling
- Participate in Treatment Team
- Complete a Comprehensive Needs Assessment to assist with re-entry planning prior to the completion of the SAP program.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, or human services degree from an accredited university and appropriate credentials for practice in Kentucky.
- Obtain TCADC and participate in supervision as regulated by the Kentucky Alcohol and Drug Counselors Board
- Must pass a legally required Criminal Record Check and a Sexual Offender Registry check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
- Must present proof of a recent (less than 1 year old) TB skin test.
Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
