My son regressed and lost his speech at 18 months until he regained it at 5yrs old through speech therapy and neurofeedback. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Educate patients and their families about speech, and language.
- Collaborate with other Empowered Heroes team members, to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
- Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance skills
- Document patient progress and outcomes in electronic medical records
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Current license to practice speech-language pathology in Illinois
- 1 years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Fluency in Polish or Spanish a Plus!
Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
