Freelance Media Planner
Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Media Planner to support a variety of clients and campaigns on a project basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, can jump in quickly, and deliver well-structured, strategic media plans that meet client objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop media strategies and plans for assigned projects, including research, plan development, and measurement frameworks
- Manage day-to-day planning tasks such as budgets, flowcharts, and timelines
- Collaborate with buying/investment teams to ensure plans are accurately executed and delivered on time
- Serve as a point of contact for client and internal team communications on assigned work
- Use planning tools and data to develop informed recommendations and ensure best practices are applied
- Monitor campaign pacing and performance with analytics teams, making adjustments as needed
- Share knowledge and collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of media planning experience, preferably in an agency or multi-client environment
- Experience working with retail clients or other high-volume, fast-turn industries is a plus
- Proficiency in building and presenting media plans
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital channels, including programmatic display, CTV, OLV, YouTube, search, audio, OOH, radio, and print
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Clear communicator with strong collaboration skills
- Able to hit the ground running and work independently with minimal supervision
