SAP PP Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) Lead / Senior Consultant with a minimum of 15 years of hands-on SAP PP experience. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning.

The candidate should also possess strong knowledge of SAP Batch Management and Serial Number Management, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA PP functional design, configuration, implementation, and enhancement activities.
• Provide deep functional expertise in Production Planning (PP) processes within SAP S/4HANA.
• Design and support Repetitive Manufacturing business processes.
• Configure and support Production Order processes, including planning, execution, confirmation, and settlement-related integrations.
• Design and optimize planning processes involving:
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Sales and Operations Planning (SOP/S&OP)
• Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
• Configure and support SAP Batch Management processes, including batch-controlled materials and integration with production processes.
• Support Serial Number Management requirements across manufacturing and related business processes.
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and integration teams.
• Support end-to-end testing, defect resolution, cutover activities, go-live, and post-production support.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices for SAP S/4HANA manufacturing and planning processes.
• Provide functional guidance and leadership to junior consultants and project team members.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (SAP PP).
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PP.
• Expert-level knowledge of:
• Repetitive Manufacturing
• Production Order Processing
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Sales and Operations Planning (SOP/S&OP)
• Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
• Strong experience with SAP Batch Management.
• Strong experience with SAP Serial Number Management.
• Experience in SAP PP configuration, functional design, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead complex functional workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
• Experience integrating SAP PP with modules such as MM, SD, QM, PM, EWM, and CO.
• Experience working in complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading workshops, gathering requirements, and creating functional specifications.
• SAP S/4HANA certification in Production Planning or related manufacturing solutions is preferred.

Experience

15 years of relevant hands-on SAP PP experience with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and manufacturing business processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
