We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to grow our IT staffing business through a combination of new client acquisition (hunter) and account expansion (farmer). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and has a strong track record of building relationships and delivering staffing solutions across technology organizations.
Key Responsibilitie:
- Drive new business development by identifying, targeting, and securing new client relationships
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities across IT staffing and consulting services
- Develop and grow existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling
- Partner closely with recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction
- Conduct client meetings (virtual and in-person) to understand hiring needs and position solutions
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients
- Stay informed on market trends, hiring demand, and competitor activity
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity targets
Required Qualificatio
- 5 years of experience in IT staffing or technical recruiting sales
- Proven track record of new logo acquisition (hunter) and account growth (farmer)
- Strong network within technology, engineering, or data-driven organizations
- Experience selling contract staffing, contract-to-hire, and direct hire solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the NYC / NJ market preferred, but open to other robust markets
- Background selling into industries such as fintech, SaaS, healthcare, or enterprise technology
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc
- Highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
