Data Governance & Quality Consultant

We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Data Governance & Quality Consultant to champion the integrity and usability of enterprise data assets. This hybrid role blends technical data profiling expertise with strategic policy oversight, making it ideal for professionals who thrive at the intersection of governance and execution.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead enterprise data governance strategy as a Collibra power user (Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Lineage).
- Facilitate Data Governance Council meetings, translating technical findings into actionable business decisions.
- Draft and enforce data usage policies ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and internal risk standards.
- Drive data quality automation and monitoring within Collibra Data Quality & Observability.
- Conduct deep-dive data profiling & remediation to resolve anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Establish and track DQ KPIs (Accuracy, Completeness, Consistency, Timeliness, Validity, Uniqueness).
- Standardize legacy data into canonical models, ensuring alignment across provider and vendor domains.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10 years in Data Management, Data Quality, or Data Governance (healthcare industry experience required).
- 4 years of hands-on Collibra expertise (Governance, Catalog, Quality/OwlDQ).
- Strong background in healthcare payer data (claims, eligibility, provider).
- Advanced SQL skills; experience with Tableau/Power BI and ETL/ELT architecture.
- Hands-on with Azure Data Services, Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake).
- Exceptional communication skills to influence senior leadership and bridge IT/business units.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
