Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Count Clerk to join our client's warehouse team in Manteca, CA. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts, conducting physical audits, and supporting the warehouse operations team to ensure product accuracy within a cold storage environment.
The ideal candidate has prior experience with warehouse inventory systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on the night shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly cycle counts to verify product accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Research and correct inventory variances within warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain precise documentation of counts, adjustments, and product locations.
- Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and forklift teams to validate stock movements.
- Assist with audits, inventory reporting, and system updates as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all GMPs, food safety, and OSHA standards.
- Work efficiently in a cold or freezer environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience (cold storage preferred).
- Familiarity with WMS / RF scanners and basic computer data entry.
- Strong math, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold/freezer conditions.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
