Senior Manager - Finance

This is a hybrid role for the first four weeks (3 days per week onsite in Rockville, MD) and might switch to virtual afterward. 9a-5pm6-9 month contractResponsibilities:Analyze, monitor, and report purchase activities of assigned book of business including data collection and reconciliation, monthly analysis and reporting on financial performance and client incentive administration per contract terms.Develop and maintain strong partnerships and provide financial process guidance to stakeholders including National Account Executives (NAEs), Regional Account Managers, Corporate Finance as well as with external clients.Ensure financial terms and conditions are compiled and executed according to agreements and established correctly in the financial tools.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 3-6 years relevant work experience.Experience and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, modeling) required, and Access database knowledge preferred.Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.Excellent and effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in the face of multiple project demands. Ability to plan and manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.Strong research and analytical skills.Strengths in problem solving, issue resolution, root cause analysis and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Effective written and verbal communication skills with an awareness of proactive methodologies.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment towards successful establishment of set goals and objectives.Conflict management skills include the ability to work with and resolve conflicting needs and requirements.Passion for driving innovation and growth with the ability to generate bold, creative ideas to improve performance and processes.
