Job Title: Seeding & Fulfillment Associate
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Fulfillment Associate plays a key role in warehouse operations by ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on time. This position supports daily order fulfillment, inventory organization, and shipment tracking. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Fulfillment

• Pick and pack products according to order slips or system instructions

• Ensure all shipments are labeled and packaged correctly to prevent damage

• Prepare orders for shipment using tools such as Shopify, ShipStation, or PirateShip

• Maintain accuracy and speed while meeting daily fulfillment goals

Inventory Management

• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming inventory

• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management

• Track product levels and notify team when restocking is required

Warehouse Operations

• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized

• Assist with packaging setup, assembly, and product preparation as needed

• Troubleshoot shipping issues such as incorrect addresses or damaged items

Reporting & Communication

• Update order logs and systems with shipping confirmations

• Communicate delays, shortages, or issues to the warehouse lead or manager

• Provide support for special projects such as bulk shipments or seasonal promotions

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or e-commerce operations (preferred)

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable using basic computer tools and fulfillment platforms (Shopify, ShipStation, etc.)

• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Schedule may include weekends or extended hours during peak seasons.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as packing, labeling, and lifting

COMPENSATION & PERKS

• Hourly Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

• Employment Status: Non-Exempt (hourly, eligible for overtime in accordance with California wage and hour laws)
