Position Overview
The Facilities Team Member supports the daily maintenance, repair, and improvement of the
cultivation facility to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This position performs skilled
maintenance tasks including construction, equipment installation, preventative maintenance,
plumbing, electrical work, mechanical repairs, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is
dependable, mechanically inclined, and capable of troubleshooting issues while maintaining a safe
work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, machinery, and facility
infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues.
• Construct, assemble, and install shelving, workstations, partitions, storage systems, and
equipment supports.
• Install and repair lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, conduit, and electrical components.
• Perform plumbing repairs including sinks, faucets, toilets, drains, valves, pumps, and water
systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC components, irrigation systems, and
facility assets.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation, relocation, and setup of production equipment and machinery.
• Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring, roofing, and general building maintenance.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, ladders, and scissor lifts.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, replacement parts, and tools.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Follow OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, company safety policies, and Missouri
cannabis regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid Missouri Agent ID Card issued by DHSS prior to
employment.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• Employment contingent upon maintaining an active Agent ID Card.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, construction, or related trade experience
preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems required.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Basic welding/fabrication preferred but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and perform repetitive motions.
• Work on ladders, elevated platforms, rooftops, and confined spaces when necessary.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Wear required PPE.
Work Environment
The role operates throughout a licensed cannabis cultivation facility regulated by the Missouri
Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS). Employees must comply with all company
safety policies, security procedures, SOPs, OSHA standards, and Missouri cannabis regulations
while maintaining company facilities and supporting operational efficiency.
