JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding market reach for Muha Meds and partnered products. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting our products to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, including dispensaries, retail partners, and distributors, to drive sales and foster customer loyalty.
- Prospect and onboard new customers through cold calling, networking, and other sales strategies to expand the customer base.
- Product Promotion:
- Promote Muha Meds products to customers, highlighting features, benefits, and unique selling points to drive sales and meet customer needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations, tastings, and presentations to showcase product offerings and generate interest among potential customers.
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas by effectively managing the sales pipeline, identifying sales opportunities, and closing deals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth and maximize sales opportunities within assigned territory.
- Market Analysis and Feedback:
- Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the market.
- Provide regular updates on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive activity to sales management and cross-functional teams.
- Sales Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales transactions using CRM software or other sales tools.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress towards sales targets and objectives.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests for information, and product inquiries to maintain positive relationships and drive repeat business.
- Training and Development:
- Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and sales techniques through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Continuously improve sales skills, product knowledge, and understanding of customer needs to enhance sales effectiveness and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of the cannabis industry, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and consumer trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support sales initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Compliance with all health and safety regulations and wearing protective clothing and equipment as required.
- Flexibility to work in varying shift patterns and overtime as needed.
