Position Summary
The Cannabis Retail Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant inventory management across all retail locations. This position will perform full physical inventory counts at each location on a rotating schedule, maintain communication with store managers and on-site inventory managers, and ensure all adjustments are processed in accordance with company policies and state cannabis regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct full physical inventory counts at each retail location at least once per month, rotating locations upon completion.

Perform inventory counts outside of business hours to ensure accuracy, with designated staff assistance as needed.

Submit completed inventory reports to the Store Manager, Compliance Manager, and Operations Officer for review.

Process approved inventory adjustments in Metrc to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Monitor and review aging inventory reports; identify products aged 90 days and communicate findings to Store Managers for appropriate pricing adjustments.

Research low-quantity items in Metrc/Dutchie to verify availability and correct discrepancies.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with Store Managers and on-site Inventory Managers to ensure alignment in inventory practices.

Assist with additional inventory-related tasks as assigned to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications

Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in the cannabis retail industry.

Familiarity with Metrc, Dutchie, and other inventory tracking systems.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.

Knowledge of state cannabis regulations related to inventory compliance.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently, travel between multiple retail locations, and work outside normal business hours.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel between retail locations.

Inventory counts are performed outside of regular business hours, including evenings or early mornings.
