Salary Range: $90,000 – $140,000 annually
Position Summary
The Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining full compliance across Black Fox Manufacturing’s Missouri operations in alignment with all applicable state and local cannabis regulations. This position ensures adherence to Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) requirements, company policies, and operational standards.
While employment will be through HR MGMT 10, LLC, this role functions directly in support of Black Fox Manufacturing’s production and operational teams to ensure consistent compliance readiness across all departments.
Candidates with current or prior experience working for the Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will bring practical regulatory insight and proactive compliance oversight to strengthen Black Fox Manufacturing’s standing with state regulators.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee and manage compliance with Article XIV and 19 CSR 100 cannabis regulations.

Conduct facility walkthroughs, internal audits, and documentation reviews to ensure adherence to DCR and internal SOPs.

Monitor and verify the accuracy of METRC reporting and inventory reconciliation.

Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with current Missouri cannabis regulations.

Coordinate and prepare for DCR inspections, license renewals, and any required corrective follow-up.

Investigate compliance incidents, prepare detailed findings, and implement corrective and preventive action plans.

Deliver training and ongoing education to leadership and staff on compliance requirements and best practices.

Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, permits, and correspondence with regulatory agencies.

Partner with Legal, HR, and Operations teams to ensure facility operations align with all regulatory standards.

Track and communicate updates to Missouri cannabis laws and regulations to management and facility leadership.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Business, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of compliance, regulatory, or auditing experience within the Missouri cannabis industry.

Current or prior DCR employment or direct regulatory experience strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of Article XIV, Title 19 CSR 100 rules, and DCR inspection procedures.

Proficiency with METRC and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Must be able to travel throughout Missouri as required.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior employment with the Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation or another state regulatory agency.

Professional certification in Compliance & Ethics (CCEP) or Cannabis Compliance.
Working Conditions

Primarily field-based with regular travel between facilities.

May require evening or weekend hours for inspections or audit follow-ups.

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
