We're hiring an Area Growth Representative to drive sales growth in the Atlanta territory. This is a feet-on-the-ground sales role focused on two objectives: adding new retail locations that stock our products and increasing sales velocity at existing accounts.
What You'll Do:
You'll spend most of your time in the field, visiting electrical supply houses, lumber yards, hardware stores, and local grocery chains to convert them into stocking locations. You'll also visit existing accounts to build relationships with store managers, secure preferential product placement, and ensure proper merchandising. Initially the role is weighted 70% toward new account acquisition and 30% toward merchandising existing locations. Over time this shifts as your territory grows. You'll log activity in Salesforce, hit monthly targets for new stocking locations, and support customer events like tradeshows and table days when needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous outside sales or territory management experience
- Track record of new business development and account growth
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to manage your own schedule and territory
- Comfortable with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Professional appearance and business appropriate attire
What We Offer:
- Base salary: $75,000 - $85,000 with potential to earn $100,000
