SGM is seeking a Survey CAD Technician for our Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, Durango, Meeker, or Gunnison, CO office. Our ideal candidate will have a strong desire to live, work, and play in Western Colorado and want to be part of a high performing team that will help forward SGM’s mission to make its clients successful by delivering innovative, practical solutions.

- Pay is based on experience & qualifications:
Survey Technician II (2 -5 yrs.): $30.75 - $38.60/hr.
Survey Technician III (4 - 10 yrs): $38.60 - $44.10/hr.
Job Description:
- Work with Project Managers & Project Surveyors completing a variety of survey drafting tasks to include ISP’s, subdivision plats, Topographic surveys, ALTA, boundary, ROW, and SUE deliverables
- Job Calculation (Reviewing of field crew notes)
- Proficient in combining topographic surfaces – LIDAR and traditional survey surfaces with points and break lines
- Coordinating with Crew Chiefs and Project Managers, as well as other draftsmen
- Be passionate about providing the highest level of customer service in the industry
- Work proactively with coworkers to maximize efficiency and project performance
