Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The role involves supporting business analysis functions within the mortgage industry to facilitate technical and process-driven improvements. This is a fully onsite contract-based position in McLean, VA, paying $60.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a business analyst interfacing between business and technical teams
- Gather and analyze requirements for mortgage-related projects
- Design process and data flows, technical specifications, and project objectives
- Support development, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Create and document UAT test strategies, plans, and test cases/scripts
- Support manual and automation testing efforts
- Provide excellent communication and analytical support throughout project lifecycles
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience in testing and automation
- Background in business analysis within the mortgage industry
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Familiarity with SDLC processes and project feasibility analysis
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
