About the Role
You'll join as an early member of the platform team, building the infrastructure, tooling, and systems that power research, experimentation, and production deployments. Working closely with research scientists and engineers, you'll help create a scalable foundation that enables rapid iteration, reliable deployment, and efficient model development. This role sits at the intersection of Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, MLOps, Developer Tooling, and AI Systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, observability, and security frameworks.
- Build internal developer tools and automation systems that improve engineering velocity.
- Develop systems for model experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and data management.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance across environments.
- Partner with research and product teams to optimize workflows and infrastructure.
- Define infrastructure standards and help shape long-term technical architecture.
- Contribute to agent platform development, backend systems, and deployment tooling.
Qualifications
- 2–7 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or MLOps.
- Experience scaling production infrastructure and developer platforms.
- Strong cloud infrastructure and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience with containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD systems.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently.
- Interest in AI systems, agent infrastructure, and machine learning platforms.
Compensation & Logistics
- Compensation: $200K–$300K Base Competitive Equity
- Location: Palo Alto, CA
- Work Model: 5 Days/week, Onsite
