Maintenance Manager

Position: Maintenance Manager

Location: Lahaina, HI

Pay: $24/hour

Experience: Proven experience in general maintenance, facilities, or property management is preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.)

Job Description:

• Manage and complete work orders using computerized systems such as Rent Manager.
• Perform and oversee routine property maintenance, facility inspections, and janitorial tasks.
• Identify and report building repairs, safety hazards, and maintenance issues.
• Support and execute preventative maintenance schedules and log all completed work.
• Perform basic repair work, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general facilities upkeep.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces, tools, and supply areas.
• Monitor supply inventory and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, repairs, and setup.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors providing on-site services.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours rotations.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents, staff, and vendors.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Valid Hawaii Driver’s License preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances).
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Willingness to learn property management software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
