Accounting Clerk

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Accounting Clerk

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $29 to $30/hour

Experience: 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative finance experience preferred.

Education: High school diploma required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Job Description

• Assist the Accountant with daily financial operations, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Maintain and organize confidential financial records, files, and documentation (digital and hard copy).
• Process invoices, payments, and account transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation as needed.
• Assist with audits and financial reviews by organizing required documentation.
• Manage and safeguard sensitive homeowner and association financial data.
• Provide administrative support related to budgeting, dues tracking, and community financial activities/
• Perform additional duties related to fiscal operations as assigned.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and file management skills (digital and physical).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a small team environment.
