Position: Landscaping Crew Lead

Location: Pukalani, HI

Pay: $28/hour

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

Employers Options is seeking a Landscaping Crew Lead to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Lead and supervise daily activities of landscaping crews.
• Perform landscape installation, maintenance, cleanup, and related tasks as needed.
• Operate and safely maintain landscaping equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Monitor the quality of work and ensure company standards are consistently met.
• Identify and correct issues in the field before they impact project completion.
• Communicate project updates, challenges, and material needs to the Project Manager.
• Train and mentor new and existing crew members.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment by hand and/or wheelbarrow at the job site.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, vendors, and other contractors when necessary.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience required.
• Previous crew lead, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and basic landscape practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow work plans and project instructions.
• Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team.
